Coach Pelosi has been coaching volleyball at TWHS since 2018. Born and raised in The Woodlands, Coach Pelosi graduated from TWHS in 2008 and during her time here, she played both basketball and volleyball. After high school, she attended Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA. She played 4 years of volleyball there and earned all-conference selections and recognition as outstanding female scholar athlete. She graduated in 2012 with her Bachelors of Science in Industrial Design.
Coach Pelosi came back to the Lone Star State after college and worked as a graphic and web designer while coaching volleyball for one of the Houston area club teams. In the fall of 2016, she changed careers and started working at The Woodlands High School. Growing up in a high school gym, coaching at The Woodlands is like coming back home. Being given the opportunity to contribute to a program that has given so much to me and my family over the years is a huge blessing that is not lost on me. I hope that I can pass on the lessons and knowledge imparted on me from so many teachers and coaches that have made a big influence on my life. Coach Pelosi has a wonderful husband Andrew, and together they have three children: Eli, Vivian, and Cecilia.

Coach Stephens is a dedicated educator and coach with 19 years of experience in the field of education. He recently joined The Woodlands High School as an Assistant Basketball Coach, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the program.
A proud graduate of Florida Atlantic University, Kenneth’s coaching passion was sparked under the guidance of renowned coach Matt Doherty. His coaching career began at Coral Glades High School in Florida, where he played a pivotal role in building the basketball program. In his first year, he helped lead the team to a school-record 28-6, a remarkable achievement for a program in its third year.
One of Kenneth’s most significant accomplishments was leading Millennium 6-12 Collegiate Academy to an undefeated season in 2014, securing the school’s first-ever championship in any sport. This achievement earned recognition from the city and local community leaders, solidifying his team’s legacy.
In 2016, Kenneth and his family relocated to Texas, where he continued to make his mark in coaching. At Dekaney High School in Spring, Texas, he served as the Boys Head Basketball Coach for four seasons, leading the team to two playoff appearances and helping six players sign with college programs.
Kenneth is also a proud family man, happily married to his wife, Scearia Stephens, for 15 years. They have four children. His dedication to education and his impressive coaching track record make him a valuable asset to The Woodlands High School’s basketball program. His commitment to both personal and team development is an inspiration to his players and colleagues alike.
