Congratulations on becoming a Lady Highlander for the 2026-2027 Season! Please read this entire document for important information. Many items are time sensitive as the season begins 

immediately!

Jerseys and bags will be issued TODAY (Monday 8/3) between 6-7 PM at the main campus volleyball locker rooms. 

All players AND managers MUST GO AND PICK UP your gear for pictures tomorrow morning!

One practice shirt is issued with uniforms, you will have the option to purchase additional practice shirts online....see links below at the end of the page.

Athletes should drive around to the very back of the building at the Lady Highlander athletic entrance! It will be the parking lot by the softball field. 

Please DO NOT complete the registration until AFTER your player has picked up her uniform this evening and has her jersey number.  Please complete the player registration on the website TONIGHT by midnight!

Here you will complete the following:

Mandatory:

* Booster Club / Team Membership

(Items included in membership are on the registration page)

Optional:

* Purchase Jersey Mikes away game meals (will close Saturday 8/8 at 11 AM)

* Purchase Yard Signs (will close Sunday 8/8 at 11 AM)

* Purchase Spirit Wear, Extra Practice Shirts and Dig Pink Shirts (**NEW this season**see links below to purchase Spirit Wear, Extra practice shirts, optional shoes/socks from external websites)

* Become a Family Sponsor

Please note that player game day shirt will not be distributed until membership has been purchased. (distribution is Saturday 8/8 at Meet the Player - Parent - Booster Club meeting)

Team pictures will take place Tuesday 8/4. 

Girls will need to arrive on time to the 9th Grade Campus Gym, dressed in the correct jersey photo ready.  Pictures start promptly at 9AM. Please arrive ready to immediately start taking pictures.  Bring ALL JERSEYS WITH YOU! 

Players also need to have picked out four different poses to have individual pictures taken. Please search online for volleyball media pictures to get ideas. One of the poses needs to be the player not smiling (serious face). 

All teams will take individual pictures, team pictures, and one group picture of the whole program. 

Varsity only will do hype video, individual pictures (both on white screen and in front of net), grade level pictures, position pictures, team pictures, and picture with whole program.

9:00 – 10:45 AM

JV, JV Green, Freshmen Red & Green and Managers

ALL should be picture ready!!  Hair, make-up, jersey, BLACK spandex, VB shoes and socks.  

JV – Color Block Jersey and black spandex

JV Green – Color Block Jersey and black spandex

Freshman Red – Red Jersey and black spandex

Freshman Green- Green Jersey and black spandex

Managers agree on same t-shirt for each team & nice shorts or jeans.

9:00 AM 

Varsity Players and Managers

ALL should be picture ready!!  Hair, make-up, jersey, spandex, VB shoes and socks.

Varsity will arrive in either red or green spandex. 

Seniors in red jersey

Juniors in white jersey

Sophomore and freshmen in green jersey

BUT BRING ALL JERSEYS & SPANDEX 

Managers agree on same t-shirt & nice shorts or jeans.

Player Contract: This can be found on the website under forms. Please print out, sign, and have your player/manager turn in the signed page to their coach at the first practice on Tuesday August 4th.

The Meet the Player Parent - Booster Club Meeting is Saturday, August 8th at 11:30 AM at the 9th Grade Campus Cafeteria.  The Booster Club will provide lunch and a treat for the players after practice. Parents should not arrive earlier than 11:15 AM.   This meeting is mandatory (at least one parent should attend). Parking will be in the back by the cafeteria doors.  

Please bring the following to the meeting:

15-20 count non-perishable individually wrapped snacks that will go into tubs and taken on the bus rides for away games.

Varsity and Senior pictures will be Saturday 8/8 at 4:00 PM at the Waterway.

For all outfits there can be no mid-drift showing.  Spaghetti straps or off the shoulder is fine. 

Clothing that you need to have:

Seniors a dress or skirt and top, or romper and shoes – your choice.

All need jeans & a white top. Jeans can have holes but no tummies showing!

All need all their jerseys and spandex.  Managers agree on same t-shirt.

Seniors should arrive at 4:00 PM dressed in their individual outfits, everyone else should arrive at 4:30 PM dressed in their jeans and white top.

Wednesday, August 5th  - All teams 9th Grade Campus Gyms

Freshmen /Sophomore/JV Green Teams practice: 9:00-11:00am

Varsity and JV practice: 1:00-3:00 pm

Thursday, August 6th  - All teams 9th Grade Campus Gyms

Freshmen / Sophomore/JV Green Teams practice: 11:00am-1:00pm

Varsity and JV practice: 1:00-3:00 pm

Friday, August 7th - All teams

Away Scrimmage vs Clear Creek ISD at Texas Legacy, 12920 Theis Lane, Tomball TX 77375. Time & Schedule TBD.

Saturday, August 8th - All teams 9th Grade Campus Gyms

Practice 9:00-11:00 AM followed by lunch and Meet the Player parent meeting at 11:30 AM. Varsity and senior pictures at 4:00 PM.

Each team needs at least 1 Team Parent that will help with communication from the coaches, coordinate making team banners and team shirts, help plan game day events and any other things needed throughout the season. If you are interested in being a Team Parent please email your name, number, players name and team to twhsvball@gmail.com ASAP. We would love to have these positions filled prior to the Meet the Player Parent Meeting.

ALL other volunteer opportunities are on a google form on the website so please visit and consider volunteering to help make our season the best it can be. If you have already turned in a volunteer form prior there is no need to do another one.

Players and Managers are treated to all things equally from the Booster Club. Therefore, registration and fees are mandatory and collected from all participants.
